Our process

1. Initial Concept Design

Our Team will walk you through design options, including building materials. They will work within the pre-determined budget discussion. From here we begin building the scope of work.

2. Schematic Design

Schematic design is a collaborative and meticulous process that transforms your vision into a functional, elegant conservatory. The journey begins with a comprehensive site survey and conceptual discussions, ensuring alignment with your aesthetic and functional goals.

This phase includes detailed architectural drawings, material selections, and integration of smart technologies for climate control and automation. The design is refined through your feedback, leading to a final set of construction documents that guide the building phase.

This thorough approach ensures each conservatory is a seamless blend of artistry and engineering, tailored to your needs.

3. Structural Engineering

Engineering is determined by your local municipality requirements and scale of the project. Often time we will take on the additional engineering and turn it into a beautiful feature. Our engineered substructure is designed and stamped by our partner VAA.

4. Design Development

Conservatory Craftsmen will offer the option for design beyond just the conservatory. We can offer a full set of permit ready construction plans. At this point layers of information are added. This will include final selections for the conservatory.

 Construction Documents

We generate a field ready set of documents for all trades to work from. These plans consist of site elevations, section details, shop drawings and construction details. From this point we move into contract and production of the conservatory.
