    FAQ

The cost of the conservatory is for everything above the “knee-wall”. Knee wall and below is done by a local contractor. Your contractor is responsible for the base work, and that cost would come from them.View our ‘How Much Does a Conservatory Cost?’ page to learn more.

We are available throughout, and after, the project to talk through any questions or provide advice on any issue. Contact Us.
During the design phase of the project, we work through every detail with you. Once you have agreed upon the design we work to get the necessary local building permits. Once we have the building permits, we cannot change the designs. However, during the design phase we happily work with you on any changes you want made.
Most county municipalities in the US will require a permit if you are adding a structure to your home. A free-standing greenhouse/conservatory will typically not require a permit.

We wrote a blog post on just this question, check it out.

This is where our smart tech automation really shines. Depending on your exposure, different conservatories react differently in their environments. If your conservatory is too warm we have ways to address that, whether manually or completely automated. Learn More.

A conservatory is actually a lovely place to spend a winter. You can enjoy all the beauty that winter provides, all from the cozy comforts or your conservatory. We deploy a variety of heating methods that will keep your conservatory at a consistent, comfortable temperature. In-floor heating, fireplaces, baseboard heating – those are just a few of the tools in our arsenal. Learn More.
Typically ceramic or porcelain tile reacts the best with in-floor heating, but if you aren’t using that feature your options are open – and you’d want to discuss this further with your local contractor.
The options are pretty much endless for lighting. Recess lighting, chandeliers, floor lamps – depending on the look you’re going for we can suggest different lighting options tailored just for your conservatory.
Every project we work on is entirely custom, from start to finish. As such, we do not offer a ‘boxed’ conservatory that you can install yourself. Conservatories have the ability to transform a home, and we think our customers owe it to themselves to get the best possible option for their individual situations.
