Featured Project – Lake of the Isles, Minneapolis, MN

A Modern Conservatory Built for Year-Round Living

Set along the iconic shoreline of Lake of the Isles, this custom conservatory was designed to complement a stunning new home build while creating a seamless connection between indoor comfort and the natural beauty outside.

Working alongside our trusted partner, Trehus, this project reflects what’s possible when thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship come together from the very beginning. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality made them an ideal collaborator, and the result speaks for itself.

Designed to Feel Effortless, Built to Perform

This 16′ x 12′ conservatory was engineered with both aesthetics and performance in mind. Clean lines, bold materials, and advanced automation come together to create a space that feels as good as it looks, in every season.

The structure features thermally broken aluminum framing in a striking jet black finish, giving the conservatory a modern architectural presence while maintaining exceptional energy efficiency. Paired with insulated glass and a triple-coat Low-E system, the space stays comfortable year-round, even through Minnesota’s toughest winters and hottest summers.

Smart Features That Work Behind the Scenes

This conservatory isn’t just beautiful, it’s intelligent.

Motorized roof vents allow for precise airflow control, helping regulate temperature naturally. Automated Pineoleam blinds adjust to sunlight conditions throughout the day, reducing heat gain while maintaining privacy and comfort.

With the touch of a button, or fully automated settings, the environment adapts without effort, creating a space that’s always ready to be enjoyed.

Built for Everyday Living

With 9-foot sidewalls and generous proportions, this conservatory feels open, bright, and inviting. It’s not just an addition, it’s an extension of the home’s living space.

Whether it’s morning coffee overlooking the lake, hosting friends, or simply enjoying a quiet moment surrounded by natural light, this space was designed to be lived in every day.
